Under the direction of trombonist and educator Tom Brantley, this university jazz orchestra brings the excitement of a full ensemble to the TCJS stage. Brantley’s background as a performer, recording artist, and jazz educator gives the group a polished yet energetic sound rooted in the joy of big-band tradition

Saxophonist and clarinetist Terry Myers is a masterful reed player with a long-standing presence in Central Florida jazz. With experience leading and performing in classic jazz ensembles, festivals, and big-band settings around the world, his quintet promises a polished performance.
After developing his professional career in Nashville and New York, Myers relocated to Florida and quickly became one of the state's most in-demand reed players. John DePaola has been playing trumpet full time for over 45 years. He has travelled extensively throughout the USA and Europe performing.
